Berkeley Affordable Housing Resources for Alameda county and Bay Area individuals who need assistance with affordable housing and/or shelters.

Eligibility requirements: Adults 18+ in Alameda County.

Beyond Emancipation offers housing, education and employment assistance for emancipated youths.

Eligibility requirements: Emancipated 18-24 year olds in Alameda county.

Call, text, or walk into a care center in Richmond, Concord or Walnut Creek for housing assistance. They also can assist in permanent connections to affordable housing.

Eligibility requirements: For Adults 18+ or families who are losing their housing or are currently unhoused.

Safe Time is a home sharing organization that matches people in need of temporary housing with spaces owned by hosts.

Eligibility requirements: 18+, different hosts have different criteria (college student, single, with kids, etc)

Legal Aid

Homeless Action Center offers free legal assistance for public benefits programs to residents of Alameda County. Offices in Oakland and Berkeley.

Eligibility requirements: Low income or homeless residents of Alameda County
