Emergency Housing

Marin Housing will offer individuals a meetings focuses on addressing the needs, providing support, and help clients achieve their own goals. Chronically homeless clients receive priority.   ​

Eligibility requirements: Referral from Ritter Center and meets one of the criteria based on housing situation. *May take a couple of months to secure accommodations 

Homeward Bound of Marin is the primary provider of Marin County homeless shelters and services for homeless families and individuals.

Eligibility requirements: Provides services for families and adults in Marin County, services also include support in planning next steps to secure permanent housing.   

St. Vincent de Paul of Marin County can provide essentials (blankets, toiletries, clean socks) and connect individuals to shelters and help may be able to help with initial cost of securing stable housing.   

Canal Alliance provides bilingual assistance for clients to help urgent needs, including access emergency rent/utilities and more. Provides services mainly for immigrants living in Marin County.
